Go to your local department store (like macys) or somewhere with a designer makeup counter and tell them what you are looking for. Hell if you only want it for some photos for one day, go there and have them pick one for you, they will demonstrate it on your skin. I use estee lauder ';tient idole'; it is a full coverage, long wear, super great for photos( i am an internet model) but it all really depends on your skin type.

Different Make up artists use different brands but my mom is a make up artist and she only uses Joe Blasco foundations, the cake foundations are specifically for photographs because they are very thick and make skin flawless. Definitly not for everyday use
