School photos, and i have little pimples on my forehead...MAKEUP OR NO MAEKUP?

makeup can make me look shiny and weird, so i dunno coz the school photos will be pretty small and the pimples might not even show up.School photos, and i have little pimples on my forehead...MAKEUP OR NO MAEKUP?
If you're makeup makes your skin shiny its only cos its crap.

use a good concealer first, just to cover the spots. Then put a good foundation over it all. Loreal makes fairly matte foundations. So does napolean perdis. revlon is also ok. maybe use a little powder over the top if its really bad.

But just experiment!! you really should be figuring out what works for you BEFORE you need to use it. I would go to a pharmacy or department store and talk to the girls there. They will give you good advice and allow you to test the different brands to find the right one.School photos, and i have little pimples on my forehead...MAKEUP OR NO MAEKUP?
if you can wear makeup..wear it
I recommend makeup(if you are allowed), because pimples can be a bit embarrassing. But don't put too much makeup on because then you'll look ';like something else';, just put a matte on but evenly across your face. If you don't really want to use makeup then you should get retouching, most schools usually have that(especially ';Lifetouch';). I really hope I helped, and good luck!!!
use waterbased foundation-looks more natural since ur pimples r small it should be good coverage
i dont know how make-up looks on your skin but i'd probs wear make-up because it usually makes photos look really good. if the make-up you have makes you look weird and shiny you should try napolean perdis 'camera finish' powder. its really good and its matte so it takes away shine and it looks extremly natural. i swear by this make-up! but if you want to be able to look back on the photo and see what you really looked like that year then dont wear make-up :):):).

i guess in the end its up to you. but experiment with different make-up looks and see if there is a natural looking one you like.
Makeup for sure ! You don't want to look back years from now and think ';why the hell didn't I wear makeup'; !!! ???
MAKEUP of course!!!
I say MAKE UP

if you are that worried about it

exfotiate extra hard that will stop

the shinyness for a good 3 hours

DO NOT PUT ON

moisturisor after you exfoliate

it wont help your problem
MAKE UP girlfriend, people will be looking at these for years
wearing makeup is the worse thing you can do when you have pimples. trust me i should know.

The best thing i can suggest as remedies are recipes i have from my herbal remedy work.

first recipe: Lavender steam

boil some water in a cheap pot and put about 1 Tablespoon of Lavender Flowers in the hot water. put a dry towel over the back of your head and bend over the pot and allow the steam to come into contact with your face allowing the pores to open and take in the natural vapors of the flowers and stay there for 15 minutes. rinse your face off and pat dry. repeat for anytime you need till the acne has disappeared.

second and more direct method

locate some witch hazel. you can find it at major drug and health stores now i believe. witch hazel has natural chemicals that remove oil from the skin making it pure and oil free.

only use a dab of witch hazel on a cotton ball or two at a time.

do not rinse off. repeat for desired effect.

the final method and more difficult.

now i know you ladies like mud masks but heres one to try.

Honey and Onion mask. it may sound strange but it works.

Mix 1 ';teaspoon'; onion juice to 2 ';tablespoons'; of honey and mix well.

apply to face where the zits are and leave for 15 minutes. rinse with warm water then follow up the rinsing with cold water. Honey is a natural bacterial static compound.

static means bacteria cannot grow in it. the onion juice serves as a deliverer of the element known as Sulfur which acts as a active ingredient for healing and soothing the skin.

I hope these methods help you out with your dilemma.

have a a nice day.
Can you cover the pimples with bangs just for the pictures? Once the pictures are done get the hair out of your face because you don't want any hair products aggravating your skin even more.

The makeup will sit on your skin throughout the day and could certainly add to the problem.
maybe some tinted moisturiser

or if u get white and shiny use a sunscreen FREE makeup.

good luck
