You're Cute, but I hate the yellow eyeshadow you're wearing. Try shades of purple, pink, blue, etc. and wear it light. A coat of mascara and eyeliner on the bottom is good. Also, you could put eyeliner on your eyelid along your lashes then smear it with your finger. It looks really nice.





If you want your hair cut, try getting long layers and straightening it. You are so cute! Very pretty. I know you were looking for tips so I'll give you a little constructive criticism. To me.. eyebrows are a big deal. Get some shape going on your eyebrows by either getting them waxed, threaded whatever you want. That can open up your face. Your hair looks nice but maybe if you did a layer cut to your shoulders? I couldn't tell from the picture how long your hair is. The layers would help frame your face.





Your makeup looks just fine. You have such a fresh face and you don't want to be applying makeup over that look. I like the eyeliner and eyeshadow combo.

for make up tips i think you've got it pretty much covered but i would say drop the gold eyeshadow and go for a purple eyeshadow to complement your eyes and maybe use some liquid eyeliner if you can apply it with a flick at the end of the lashline

I'd play up your eyelashes with 2-4 coats of mascara

your eyes are absolutely gorgeous, so i would try to emphasize them as much as possible. however, the eyeliner you have on now doesn't show off their full potential, so i would avoid lining the inner rim. instead, line the top lash with a very dark brown or black eyeshadow with a thin brush (you can get close to the same effect by lining it with a pencil and smudging it). do this on the bottom lash line too, but only go in about 5mm, so you don't look like you have bags under your eyes. top it off with a chocolate eyeshadow, it'll look great with your skin tone.


i'd leave the rest of your face blank and do a skin tone lip gloss.


as for hair, you might want to try side bangs. they flatter most people's faces quite well and would look really nice with your face shape. add a couple layers, and you're good to go!

Your hair looks on the thin side--how about some layering to add body. You remind me of my friend kate--she has bangs that go real well with her face shape and you're the same. But the length looks fine to me
I would suggest brown or plum eyeshadow (nothing bright), thin lining like you have because you already have big pretty eyes. And then a lip color with a little color, possibly a neutral pink gloss for daytime (similar to your lip color now because it is a very pretty lip color) then a slightly bolder and darker color lip stick for nighttime although not too much difference. Only to enhance your natural colors. Your skin is lovely, very light foundation and a little loose powder with a very little dark rosy color blush. :)

You have great eyebrows.


As far as makeup goes, i would do the following:


1. Start out with a base foundation. You have clear skin so this will just give your face a smooth, matte finish.


2. Get a blush/bronzer. Personally, i think Benefit makes a great product called Dallas. If you dust this on your cheekbones it will make them more defined.


3. Highlight your eyes by base coating the whole lid with a shimmery tan, off white, or light brown.


4. Lightly line the eyes with a dark brown color. Do a thin even line on the top lid, and, on the bottom, make the liner a little thicker on the outer edge.


5. Use a black mascara to really thicken and lengthen the top lashes.


6. Finish it off by using a caramelly pink lipgloss.

As far as hair goes, i would make it a little bit shorter and lighten it up a little bit with lots of highlights and lowlights. Go for a choppier look. And, if your feeling wild, a few rocket red highlights that are very thin would look cute. Oh, and believe me, it won't look emo.
Your pretty girl!!!! Being a person who all the ladies come to for makeup tips...here is what i would recommend.....





1) starting with the hair.... have it cut with a tapered back...sorta like light layers.... You have a beautiful face that will be complimented by this type of haircut. It would make you look energetic and vibrant!! I would keep the same color, but add a golden highlight that is a compliment color to your eyes... you can have this color selected at just about any beauty supply store, or salon. Most of them have hair charts that you can use to compare highlight colors. If you really wanted to become creative, be bold and add a light brown with this gold!! It is summer and light is in!!


As for the makeup... start with a light foundation.. You have a really nice complection and skin tone. We want to keep as much of this as possible!! Try to find a color to match the tan you would get if you spent a day in the sun. A harvest orange/brown would be perfect for you. It would also bring the color of your hair out!! With those eyes that you have....you might even pick up a stalker or two!! lol Depending on the blush you choose, pick an eyeshadow that comes close to your blush. If you feel like being spunky, a plumb or other dark purple will set you off!! Gotta keep your face looking natural!! With some dark eyeliner..seal the deal and bring out them pretty eyes.. If I were you, i wouldn't put on any lipstick...your lip color is awsome!! but if you must....use a a bronze lipstick, you will definitely be racking up the looks with the guys (and probably a few girls!!)

Is $600 fair for professional photo shoot including hair and makeup?

I have been offered to sign with a fairly popular modeling agency in my area. Before signing I want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off. The agency is legitamite, but I have heard of girls that are signed even though their not modeling material just to pay for photos and never get work. Once i sign the contract I am exlcusive to them for 12 months so I want to be sure. They are charging $600 bucks to get professional photos to build a portfolio. This includes comp cards, 8x10s, and a cd. They also provide hair and makeup. The shots include 5-8 outfit changes. I know that a portfolio and professional photos are necessary in order to submit to clients, but is $600 bucks reasonable? Also I believe there is (25) comp cards, 4 or 5 8x10s included, not sure though. Is this normal for an agency, am I being scamed?





PS, before I even get the photos they already have an audition for a fashion show lined up for me this Monday. There is not limit to when I have to get the photos and their not a requirement, the agency just recommends it to get more jobs. There is also a payment plan.Is $600 fair for professional photo shoot including hair and makeup?

Do research before going. 600 dollars is a lot of money and you def don't want them to take that from you and rip you off.

There are loads of people that wear quite a bit of makeup. I would say maybe a very small amount of these are actual sluts!? So why is it that there is a nametag on wearing makeup. Can't it sometimes just be creativity? I suppose it depends on how well you apply it...

I know how to apply everyday makeup, but it I'm always scared I'll go overboard, so I under-apply. (i.e. in this picture, I felt like I looked too made-up, when all I had was blush and a touch of lipstick). I want enough to actually enhance my features (mostly eyes), but nothing bright or sparkly.





I'd love to get some tips for my skin/eye/hair color and deep set eyes, so that my eyes ';pop'; while still looking natural.

I've heard that you minimize noses that the trick is in shading. I think using a bronzer or eye shadow that's slightly darker than your skin/foundation color works best. Applying, with a brush, on the tip of your nose and also underneath, because it creates a shadow effect making your nose look shorter. Shading is kind of tricky if you're not too experienced with applying make up.





I'm also tan with dark hair and I always like bronzes and browns and golds against brown eyes. It's really subtle against the skin tone, but still looks great. It's hard, at least for me, to get color to really show up because of my tan skin - so try dabbing a tiny bit of vasoline on your lids first. Those neutral tones will probably be good for you, starting out, because they're not too crazy. Once you're used to wearing make up you should try purples or deeper/rich pinks, because those bring out brown eyes.Makeup tips? Photo included.?
You have amazing features....but I know what you meant. Strong camera lighting washes golden tones from skin. Use warmer colors on cheeks and lips and for contouring.





If I were you, I just go OTT with your eyes but go easy with your lips. There is nothing wrong with your nose, it is quite proportionate to your overall face structure.





You can go wrong with dark blue, brown or purple for eyes. You might want to add sparkle to your eyes for evening/dinner/indoor by trying to add a little bit of glitter effect. It makes such a different inside and outside of photo shoot.
A couple of miles a week on a treadmill will work wonders.

first eyeliner on the top and bottom of your eyes. try some skin colored eyeshadow to put on ur eyelids. fondation if u use that stuff. some pinkish lip gloss that can pump up your lips and make them shine. and to get guys to want them. some mascara to bring your eyes out and make guys look at them. but not to dark to make u look emo...unless u r. u could try to put a really light red/pink blush around your eyes to make them look pretty. my aunt is a make up artist and gives me these tips all the time

I'd line the top lashes with a dark blue or slate gray liner, and (obviously) use mascara. I'd apply a nude eyeshadow to the entire lid.

Dont wear alot of make up, you really dont need it but if you wanted to wear makeup maybe you whould wear some peach blush, and mascara, and maybe some lip gloss. You dont really need any make up anyway becaue you have such beautiful skin and eyes.

If so, I'd look into the Almay collection made specifically for blue eyes...I've gotten it before since I have blue eyes too, and it gives a very pretty and natural look but still makes your eye color ';pop';. A shiny clear lip gloss looks good on anyone, so I'd go with that as well.
If I were you I wouldn't do anything too drastic as you have a really pretty face and you don't need much. A really pretty ';smoky eye'; would be really pretty, just don't over-do it. And keep the rest of the face pretty toned down. Maybe a light wash of color on your cheeks and either gloss or a nude color on your lips.
I actually think at this age you shouldn't apply too much makeup. Anyways, you look great without makeup. But, since you like to play around, I think you will look great with a little bit of blue eye shadow and sparkles on the eye lids. For the lips, I would just keep it natural with a glossy red or pink.

wow, you're pretty. to make your eyes stand out, you should apply a golden tone, or whatever is the opposite of your eye color. add eyeliner, and a good mascara (i recommend maybelline xxl). even out your skin tone a bit, then add a light pink lipgloss, to make your lips pop. fix your eyebrows a bit, and add a very little amount of reddish-brown blush. glitter would also greatly compliment your face. i hope this helps you a little bit.

try shadows that they say go well with green eyes like diff shades of green and some purples. I love to do make up, and I would put a silver shadow, onyx or dark gray liner on top lid, and make your eyelashes long and volumous on the top and hardly any mascara on the bottom lashes. First, start off by adding some lighter streaks on your hair to bring it out the area of face %26amp; eyes, %26amp; I mean natural-looking streaks, maybe 2-3 shades lighter. okay. first of all, nothing too dark or heavy. summer makeup should always be light and airy.


you already look pretty tan, but a little bronzer the bridge of your nose, along the cheekbones, and around the hairline would make you glow.


a little blush, but not too much. when i put on blush, i smile, and then i put the blush on the little ';apples'; that come up.


you can use either black or dark brown eyeliner. just a little though, you don't want to look like a raccoon. put it all along the top, but only on the outside half on the bottom.

Personally, i've always thought that girls with light skin and light eyes look so beautiful with deep brown hair. it really makes you stand out in a crowd. i would also suggest using a volumizing mousse (try garnier XXL) and blow dry your hair upside-down for more volume. for make up, just some soft blush to make your face glow and some black mascarra. that's all a girl needs! you have great skin. oh, and of course, lip gloss. :)

Go softer on the eye makeup. Lots of websites, etc. can show you how to do a ';smoky eye';. (I don't use it because it's not right for me, but it would work on you.) You could use a little color in your cheeks, something subtle like ';Warming'; from Bare Escentuals, or a subtle powder blush of some kind. Also, would you consider changing your hair color to dark brown or golden brown? It would really bring out your pretty features and not make you look so washed out. You have gorgeous skin and great features - you want to play them up!!!

well try just little bit of mascara with eye liner but don't put to much on, you want it to look natural so go with pinkish light browns with your skin color and it will look great but remember to make it look natural.

you honestly do not need make up!!! you are georgeous, but if you really want to, i would put a brown eyeliner, very lightly from the middle of your eye to the out side. then use your finger to blend it with your eyelashes. (do that with the top and the bottom!) you should hardly be able to see it, and then use some really natural colors for your eye shadow. like maybe a cream color for the base color, and then a light brown on the very edge of your eyes, creating a wing like illusion. and then you mix all of the color together. it is very natural looking, but it makes much of a difference! and then for the lips, you should stick to pink!! but a lighter pink, not bright. unless you want the focus of your face to be your lips. if you want that, then i would do a red lip liner, and then a dark pink (not bright pink) and then that would look really pretty. but if you want your eyes to be the center of attention, then you sould do what i said, oh and i forgot, but also put mascara on! haha, and then just do a light pink, glossy lip! good luck! and i hoped that this helped!!Any good makeup ideas for me (photo)?
you are so pretty! i would say avoid eyeshadows, as i have the same problem. black looks absolutely ridiculous on me. sometimes i go for a dark silver with white reflects in it, and line my water line but thats it basically. if i DO wear eyeshadow its definitley neutral tones. ';gleam'; by m.a.c is probably one of my favourites.

Skip eyeshadow, brown eyes pop out just fine without it. Use dark brown eyeliner and mascara. Dark brown would look more natural than black and draw attention to the color of your eyes. For your cheeks, find a powder that's a shade darker than your skintone and brush that along your cheekbone lines and the bridge of your nose. It'll look natural and babydollish. Wear a dark shaded lipgloss. If the rest of your face is natural looking then the dark lipgloss will give you some edge, but you won't look like a clown.

first eyeliner on the top and bottom of your eyes. try some skin colored eyeshadow to put on ur eyelids. fondation if u use that stuff. some pinkish lip gloss that can pump up your lips and make them shine. and to get guys to want them. some mascara to bring your eyes out and make guys look at them. but not to dark to make u look emo...unless u r. u could try to put a really light red/pink blush around your eyes to make them look pretty. my aunt is a make up artist and gives me these tips all the time

I'd line the top lashes with a dark blue or slate gray liner, and (obviously) use mascara. I'd apply a nude eyeshadow to the entire lid.





I'd use a really neutral / bronzing cheek color, and highlight the brow and cheek bone

Dont wear alot of make up, you really dont need it but if you wanted to wear makeup maybe you whould wear some peach blush, and mascara, and maybe some lip gloss. You dont really need any make up anyway becaue you have such beautiful skin and eyes.

I'd go with a nice mascara(Rimmel Londons Lash Maxxx %26amp; Cover Girls Lash Blast are two I'd reccomend), and it looks like you have blue eyes judging by the picture? If so, I'd look into the Almay collection made specifically for blue eyes...I've gotten it before since I have blue eyes too, and it gives a very pretty and natural look but still makes your eye color ';pop';. A shiny clear lip gloss looks good on anyone, so I'd go with that as well.
If I were you I wouldn't do anything too drastic as you have a really pretty face and you don't need much. A really pretty ';smoky eye'; would be really pretty, just don't over-do it. And keep the rest of the face pretty toned down. Maybe a light wash of color on your cheeks and either gloss or a nude color on your lips.
I actually think at this age you shouldn't apply too much makeup. Anyways, you look great without makeup. But, since you like to play around, I think you will look great with a little bit of blue eye shadow and sparkles on the eye lids. For the lips, I would just keep it natural with a glossy red or pink.

wow, you're pretty. to make your eyes stand out, you should apply a golden tone, or whatever is the opposite of your eye color. add eyeliner, and a good mascara (i recommend maybelline xxl). even out your skin tone a bit, then add a light pink lipgloss, to make your lips pop. fix your eyebrows a bit, and add a very little amount of reddish-brown blush. glitter would also greatly compliment your face. i hope this helps you a little bit.

EASY! Apply heavy black mascara. Light pink lip gloss. Bronzer blended in the cheeks and forehead. Brown, earthy colored eyeshaddow. And, Miranda Kerr has very narrowed eyes so, wining out some brown eyeliner would make you like cat-like, in a good way.

First, start off by adding some lighter streaks on your hair to bring it out the area of face %26amp; eyes, %26amp; I mean natural-looking streaks, maybe 2-3 shades lighter. okay. first of all, nothing too dark or heavy. summer makeup should always be light and airy.


you already look pretty tan, but a little bronzer the bridge of your nose, along the cheekbones, and around the hairline would make you glow.


a little blush, but not too much. when i put on blush, i smile, and then i put the blush on the little ';apples'; that come up.


you can use either black or dark brown eyeliner. just a little though, you don't want to look like a raccoon. put it all along the top, but only on the outside half on the bottom.


tan or light pink eyeshadow would be good for your skin tone. just enough so that it shimmers and is slightly noticeable.


and then black mascara only on the top lashes.





i know this seems like a lot, but it's really not after you get used to it.

well, what's in for summer right now, is like a bronze eye (you can use your face bronzer for an eye shadow) and then a sheer shimmery eye shadow over the bronze





make sure when you apply your makeup always blend everything in well and make sure to use brushes that are specifically for your eyes, or your face... lips etc. the type of tools you use will effect the overall appearance of your makeup
I would say bronxe colours as you are brunette. Pink shades usually match blondes.

i would say bare study paint pot as base





honesty or omega in inner corner


freshwater in outer half of eyelid


texture in and above crease


deep truth in outer corner/crease of eye


forgery, crystal avalanch or vanilla pigment as highlight/tear duct





would be my guess, or really close to it :)

-take bare study paint pot and put it all over your eyelids, another alternative to this would be cream color base in pearl.





-take honesty or omega eyeshadow and put it in the inner 1/3 corner of your eye. and the inner 1/3 of lower eyelid





-take texture and with a ponytail brush/blending brush blend it in and a little above the crease





-next take freshwater and apply WET (dip your brush in water and with CLEAN fingers squeeze out excess water and then dip into eyeshadow) and apply to the outer 2/3 of your lid and blend a little into crease. also line lower lid with it.





-apply deep truth in the very outer corner of your eye and into crease. apply to outer 1/3 of your lower lid





-BLEND start with where the light shadow meets freshwater and blend line there. then blend where freshwater meets deep truth. BLEND BLEND BLEND especially in the crease. you want a smooth transition





-take your highlight (forgery, crystal avalanch, or vanilla) and apply to brow bone (under eyebrow) and on the tear duct. lightly blend.





-take a black eyeliner (i highly suggest a khole pencil) and smudge it into the top and bottom lash lines.


then TIGHT LINE upper and lower water lines





-curl lashes and apply mascara of choice. in this picture it looks like you'd want something that will lengthen them. you could always opt for false eyelashes.

before my job i had to work with the crappiest makeup ever,


if you know what you're doing it doesnt matter what you're using.


this is a really simple effect:


its a pale but intense blue thickly added to the eye, with a slight goldish green to the corner by the nose.


after gettign the desired affect of eyeshadow do two thin lines of black eyeliner on the top and bottom lid, then add a thick volumizing mascara
just take it into the store none of us know all the mac eyeshadow colors by heart!

You know my relative is a beautician and she says u should not put foundation cream without a moisturiser or cold cream coz it dries the skin or spoils it if it does not suit ur skin.So If u buy a new brand or different one first try it on ur hand for 2-3 days.

your skin seems to be alright, so you shouldn't put any powder, just some creem so it wouldn't dry, and use eye liner only for the upper part of an eye. You may also use some eye shadow, it would make your eyes more bright. Okay well first of all you need a black pencil liner, very black liquid liner, false lashes and a nude eyeshadow with a bit of shimmer.


Okay first of all put a primer on and under your eye. Second apply the black eyeliner pencil all around your eye in the shape that she has it in but a very very VERY thin line on the top lashline. Thirdly, draw a very very very very VERY thin liquid eyeliner line on the lashline over top of the pencil liner. And lastly curl your lashes, put on mascara, apply the false lashes and you're good to go!How do you do makeup like this? (photo in description :)?
Overall, when it comes to makeup, Covergirl is the best way to go. That's why when I shop for makeup, I always look for covergirl products.





It takes a while to learn how to properly put on eyeliner. I have been trying all year, and I still haven't gotten it right. I'm not sure if that applies to most people (I'm left-handed), though.





However, if you only put on makeup to take pictures, you can just put on makeup as well as possible, and fix any flaws with photoshop.
mascara, eyeliner, %26amp; bit of eyeshadow is used in your picture. :)


first sweep some fine mascara (mascaras that make your lashes longer) on your eyelashes.


then apply pencil eyeliner on your eye borders liek the one in the pic from the top - inside (meaning near your nose) to outside and bottom - inside to outside.


then put a light brownish eyeshadow above your eye like in the picture.

Second, you can use any type of eyeliner, and just thinnly line your eye and beneath your eye. Most likely use liquid or normal eyeliner for the top eyelid. Not sure what it's called, but you can buy a thing that makes your eyelashes curl up like that. So that's about all you need.

so what i would do is take a really thin eyeliner and trace your eyelid..but make it look really thin.


then do your normal eyeliner on the bottom..then just make sure the top and bottom meet i guess?


then take some really light black eyeshadow and cover a LITTLE BIT of your eyelit near the eyeliner.


and top it all off with some really dark,thick mascara.

hey y'all! i was wondering if any of you could help. tomorrow i'm going to be taking a couple pictures of myself %26amp; friends, and i was wondering what makeup i should wear to make my facial features stand out?

A good way for your eyes to stand out is to have them looking smoky, not like racoon eyes. You can do this applying whatever color eyeshadow you like, followed by applying eyeliner ( I prefer liquid=ALMAY BLACK) on both the bottom and top rims. also apply mascara to both the bottom and top lashes to make it extra smokey.


Lipgloss, always go for colors that brings out ur skin color, like bright summery colors, maybe a peach, raspberry or fuscia and even hot pink.Need makeup to stand out in photo?
just do eyeliner at the top and bottom of your eyes, extra mascara. a trick to make eyelashes look bigger is to keep drawing withthey eyeliner at the end of the eye.. dont really know how yo explain it.. but it makes you look like you have cat eyes kinda.

Since a black eyeliner would probably look way too intense, I'd suggest trying a brown eyeliner. Not even a dark brown, but a medium, sort of chocolaty color, if that makes sense. Or, if you want something different, a navy blue would really bring out the color of her eyes.





I would try one of these colors in a liquid eyeliner, and, starting about where the iris starts ( or about an inch away from the inner corner ) trace a very thin line along the top lash line, very close to the base of the lashes, and make the line subtly thicker ( but not too thick ) as you get closer to the outer edge of the eye. Then just use some curling black mascara, ( or curl your eyelashes and use regular black mascara )

black mascara, and covergirl has 2 good colors, taupe for the crease and vaneilla for the highlight :)
I would stay away from eyeliner in general since her eyes are pretty big in the first place. Use mascara on the top and bottom then but a light shadow in the corners of her eyes( try Loreal ';Wear Infinite'; in Morning Light), it will make the color pop. I think if she used any dark colors it wash her out. LESS IS BETTER.

Neutrogena black mascara (from CVS), Neutrogena eyeshadow in a natural tone like a shimmery bronze, and Neutrogena eyeliner in a really light brown. Neutrogena is cheap and really really natural, because your sister has good eyes and doesn't need a lot of makeup.

To get this look you could use white normal lipgloss and over coat it with a little bit of gold eye shaddow if you can't find any gold lipgloss for your lips. :)


And if you want the lip effect you don't have to because a black would look ok with gold! Or white of something diffrent.


Then you could use black long fake eyelashes.


And white ones at the bottom if you can find some :).
